One document, written in plain language. It covers both how we handle your information and the terms for using this site.

Privacy Policy
Faithful Forward Company (“Faithful Forward,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Ministry Effectiveness Check, the Ministry Effectiveness Diagnostic, and related church consulting services. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how it’s handled.
Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Contact information — your name, role (e.g. Lead Pastor, Elder), church name, church size, and email address, collected when you start the free Ministry Effectiveness Check or the paid Ministry Effectiveness Diagnostic.
- Assessment responses — your answers to the Ministry Effectiveness Check (25 questions) and, if purchased, the Ministry Effectiveness Diagnostic (105 questions), along with the scores calculated from them.
- Newsletter signup — your email address, if you subscribe to Forward Weekly.
- Payment information — if you purchase the Diagnostic, payment is collected and processed entirely by Stripe. We never receive, see, or store your card number or other payment credentials.
- Anything you send us directly — for example, if you email us or book a Blueprint Review or Debrief call.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider logs basic technical information (such as browser type and general location inferred from IP address) for security and performance purposes. We do not run advertising trackers, and as of this policy’s last update we do not use third-party analytics services. If that changes, we’ll update this policy.
How We Use Your Information
- To calculate and deliver your Ministry Effectiveness Check results or Ministry Effectiveness Diagnostic Blueprint.
- To let you save progress and resume an assessment later on the same device.
- To let Xavier Maryland personally review your results before your Blueprint is finalized and to prepare that Blueprint.
- To send you the newsletter, if you subscribed, and to communicate with you about your assessment, purchase, or scheduled calls.
- To improve the assessments and this site over time.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your assessment responses publicly or use them for benchmarking without your consent.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use a small number of vendors to operate this site. Each only receives the information it needs to do its job:
- Stripe — processes Diagnostic payments. Stripe handles your payment details directly; we never see your card number.
- Supabase — securely stores your contact information and assessment responses so they’re durably saved and accessible to us for preparing your results and Blueprint.
- Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used on this site from Google’s servers.
- Calendly (once connected) — if you book a Debrief or Blueprint Review, scheduling will be handled by Calendly.
We choose vendors that are reputable and use industry-standard security practices, but we encourage you to review their own privacy policies as well.
Cookies & Local Storage
This site uses your browser’s local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to save your in-progress assessment answers and newsletter preference, so you can leave and come back without losing your place. This information stays on your own device and is not accessible to us unless you complete and submit an assessment.
Data Retention
We retain your contact information and assessment responses for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, prepare your Blueprint, and maintain records for our business. If you’d like your information deleted sooner, contact us using the information below and we’ll honor that request unless we’re required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
Your Rights & Choices
You can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information from our records.
- Unsubscribe from Forward Weekly at any time (every email includes an unsubscribe option once the newsletter is fully connected; until then, email us to be removed).
To exercise any of these, email us at xavier@faithfulforward.co.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including relying on vendors (Stripe, Supabase) that maintain industry-standard security practices. No method of storing or transmitting data online is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
This site and its services are intended for pastors, church leaders, and ministry staff, and are not directed at or intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Terms of Use
Acceptance of terms
By using this website or purchasing the Ministry Effectiveness Diagnostic, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Use of the site
You agree to use this site only for its intended purpose: taking assessments, learning about our services, and engaging with Faithful Forward as a church leader or on behalf of a church. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or submit false information in a way intended to interfere with the service.
Assessments, results, and professional disclaimer
The Ministry Effectiveness Check and Ministry Effectiveness Diagnostic are ministry-planning tools grounded in biblical principles and Xavier Maryland’s pastoral and consulting experience. They are not legal, financial, tax, medical, or licensed counseling advice, and results should not be treated as a guarantee of any particular outcome for your church. Every Blueprint is personally reviewed by Xavier before delivery, but the recommendations are guidance for your leadership team to weigh and apply according to your own convictions and context.
Purchases & payment
The Ministry Effectiveness Diagnostic is a one-time paid purchase, processed securely through Stripe. Pricing shown at checkout is the price charged.
[Refund / cancellation policy — to be added. For example: whether Diagnostic purchases are refundable before you begin the assessment, non-refundable once started, or refundable within a specific window. Xavier: replace this bracketed note with your actual policy.]
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including the Five Pillars framework, the Ministry Effectiveness Quadrant, assessment questions, and written content — is the property of Faithful Forward Company and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission, except for your own church’s internal use of your own Blueprint and results.
Disclaimer of warranties
This site and its assessments are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep the site accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Faithful Forward Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or its assessments. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Diagnostic will not exceed the amount you paid us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update this Privacy Policy and these Terms of Use from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
